Refuse collection and separation

Avalex is responsible for waste management in Wassenaar. Waste management includes waste disposal, collection and removal. The company is owned by the six local authorities Visit the Avalex website for more information.

Separation
From January 2022, you may place PMD and residual waste together in one bin. A separate PMD container is therefore no longer necessary.

Glass, VFG, textile and paper are still collected separately.
