A ceremony of remembrance and hope 9/11
A CEREMONY OF REMEMBRANCE AND HOPE 9/11
9/11/2001 - 9/11-2011 It will be ten years since 9/11! "I remember exactly where I was!"
The day is etched in who we are and so it is important that there be a place for people to come together. For this reason, each year Overseas Americans Remember OAR holds a Ceremony of Remembrance and Hope at the American School, Rijksstraatweg 200, Wassenaar. This year, it begins at 7:15 p.m.
Symbolically, the school is a place where people from more than 50 countries and every religion are welcome. At this ceremony too, all are welcome. There are no invitations. Furthermore, if you have a story to tell or know someone who might want to share a memory or contribute in any way, please have them contact OAR - Roberta Enschede 070-5118409 robertaenschede@yahoo.com, jessierodell@gmail.com, a.beeuwkes@xs4all.nl, mcgrewta@state.gov, anne_warwick2000@yahoo.com
